week 3 of PT and 22w pregnancy appt....

We are begining week 3 of PT for Kaylee and she is still doing sooo great. She has been doing SO well and is starting to have more and more dry pull-ups during the day. We are so proud of her!
We are still using pull-ups and diapers at night but she is doing great. Maybe after her birthday we will try switching to regular big girl undies and see how she does, at least on the weekends to start with.

Kaylee loves getting her 'stickers' when she goes on the potty and she loves telling everyone that she went 'pee pee in the potty!!" afterwards. She is finally starting to catch on and I LOVE it!
Its so hard to believe in less than 30 days she will be 2 yrs old!! The birthday party planning has begun! We've picked out and ordered the theme party supplies and will be sending out invitations next week!!


I had another dr. appt yesterday for baby Michael and he is doing great! He is growing and heartbeat sounds nice and strong. All my signs are normal- bp, hemaglobin- etc... so things are really looking good. I have done fairly well on weight gain this time around also so I'm thrilled about that! I talked to my dr about the severe reflux I've been having and he did recommend a drug that is considered fda catagory B, meaning safe for use in pregnancy- so I'm considering that. I hate taking meds while pg, but I also hate this reflux stuff too. I'll keep you posted on that!
I go back in 4 weeks for the 1 hour sugar test. oh boy!

Sally's Shower

Well, today was my sister's baby shower. It was a great afternoon with family and friends. Here are a few pictures of me and my sister and some from the shower.

the PT continues........

Today was an exciting day that started at the breakfast table! As we were wrapping up the wonderful breakfast my husband made us, Kaylee promptly looks at me and says "I go potty now mommy!" so we got up, and went to the bathroom and indeed, she immediatly went pee pee in the potty! I was sooo proud! Never before has she told us that she had to go, we usually tell her to go, so this was a huge step. Granted it was the only time today this happened, we are still so proud!!! Little Kaylee is growing up!!!

One week down. . . the weekend to go!

Well, its been a FULL week of Kaylee going potty! We are so excited about her progress. Although she doesn't still tell us she 'needs to go' she will go on the potty when she sits on it almost 8 out of 10 times. She is getting more and more excited when she makes it. And she loves all the stickers she gets as rewards!
We are hoping that this next week continues to show progress and get closer and closer to kaylee going potty on her own!

This weekend will be exciting as I head up to my mom's for my little sister's baby shower tomorrow. I can't believe that MY little sister is about to have a baby in less than 12 weeks. I'm so excited about becoming a aunt!! I can't wait.

update on our potty training adventure....

So for those of you who regularly follow my blog, you'll note that its been a while since we've had a "potty training' update. Well, that's because after a great start to Pting.... however, by the second week she totally lost interest in going potty, so we haven't been pushing it.
Well, last Thursday something clicked, cause she actually went potty at daycare for the first time! She has 2 other little girls who are also starting to go potty, so we are thinking that might have sparked her interest. Either way, we are happy to report that she has gone in her potty at least 1x a day since Thursday! She is very proud when she does go potty- and so are we!!!
We are hoping this trend continues and more and more progress gets made before little brother Michael gets here! So stay tuned......

Disney here we come...!

Okay, we aren't GOING to disney.... but those disney princess' have NOTHING on my very own little princess!

Daddy bought Kaylee's halloween costume last night and needless to say it was a BIG hit!
Kaylee loves princess and dress up right now, so she was in heaven playing with her new 'outfit'. Yes, its too big, but at least she can play with it for a while :)

We all fall down!!!

Not only is Kaylee's new favorite thing to do "ring around the rosie" but last night she had a first- She fell out of her bed about 10:30pm. Now, Kaylee's bed isn't on rails or headboard yet- just sitting on the floor about 12 inches up for now... so She barely even woke up ! We heard the thud, a bit of whimpering when we got in she was snuggled up on the floor! We picked her up put her back in bed and she was fast asleep again. No more fall's last night. Hopefully that was a first and a last!

Kaylee has had alot of new adventures lately! She went camping with meme and papa last saturday-sunday in cleveland while mommy and daddy went to the UGA game. She really enjoyed it! So much that she didn't want to leave when we picked her up! Meme and Papa had a really good time as well.
