Family Vacation

Well, this week is our Family Vacation! So far it has been really nice just hanging out with each other.
We head to the beach on Wednesday and will return on Sunday. We are going to Edisto Island in Sc. Chris and I went there together in 2004 and LOVED it, so we can't wait to return and take Kaylee this time. It is very remote and not commercialized, no fast food, no big chain resturants.. really, no big NOTHING but the beach and sand! its gonna be great.
Today we are off to 'MeMe's" aka.. My moms house for a day with her and my dad. We'll hang out at the pool and hopefully get some yummy veggies from their garden. Kaylee loves going over to Meme's to swim.

Well, We are off! Talk to you guys in about a week!!!

Our day at the zoo and Happy Father's day!!

So, for fathers day we went on a family trip to the Atlanta Zoo. Kaylee has only been to one other zoo, last year at the National Zoo in DC but she was only 7 months old.

This time around it was so much fun cause she could call out the animals and make the sounds they made.
We had a wonderful day together, here are a few pics from our day. Kaylee really enjoyed seeing all the animals. She especially liked the monkeys and lions. (of course the arangatans and lemas were all monkeys to her too!)

Kaylee loved the lion- ROAR

The ride home- she was all worn out!

Sunday we had a great day honoring Chris (daddy). He is such a good dad!!
We went to church, then out to lunch. We came home took a BREIF nap and then played outside.
here are some pics of kaylee in her waterwonderland!

More exciting news!!

Well, alot has happened at the Purvis household over the last month! We are pretty well settled in our new house and loving it.

I have to admit I've done pretty well keeping up this blog and keeping all our family and friends up to date, however there is one thing I have not shared...........

YES! We are Expecting again!! We are so thrilled and excited its been very hard to keep our little secret! We just had our first ultrasound today and everything looks great! We are so excited. As many of you know, it was a very hard road to get miss Kaylee here.. one loss, lots of fertility treatments... however, this time around everything just happened on its own and is looking perfect so far. Our doctor is so excited and thrilled for us! We are just overwhlemed at God's blessings upon our lives right now.

Our due date is Jan. 27, 2009... and we are sooooo excited!!! We shared the 'big' news with our families tonight over dinner and everyone is so excited and happy for us. My little sister is also pregnant (due in November) so its going to be fun being pregnant together for a while :)
Our next dr. appointment is July 1 and we will be going on vacation the 25-29 of this month but stay tuned for more updates.... although, I don't know what else God could possibly bless us with next... we definitly have 'cups running over' with blessings right now!!

We're all moved in.. an update

Well, its been well over a week since my last blog.... we are finally moved in our new house and have internet again (hence why I can blog again!). Instead of writing alot about the move, I'll just post a few pictures so you can see what we've been doing.... I wish I had taken a picture of our loaded down Uhaul truck, that was an adventure.. however I was only able to locate my camera a day or so after we started unpacking!! :) So here are what I was able to capture of the move. . .

Kaylee helping us pack up the last few boxes.....

Our beautiful back deck... covered with empty boxes we have 'unpacked'....

Kaylee's first look at her new playroom.... eventually will be a formal dining roomOur living room with furniture!!

We are really loving our new home! We have been so blessed and we are already starting to make some great memories in it. For example, tonight at dinner this was what took place...

We still have alot of things we want to do to our home, like some landscaping and finishing the basement... but we really are so happy to be in our new home and to be making memories here.

And to close, here is Kaylee's newest song... she loves to sing this at the TOP of her lungs. **For those of you who can't figure it out, Kaylee is singing "Yes Jesus Loves me Yes Jesus Loves me" ***Forgive me for following her around the house like crazy, but she just wouldn't stand still and sing it, and I HAD to get it on video!! We love you all...
