1.5 years old!!

Well today is 1.5 years since Kaylee entered the world! I can't belive how fast our little girl is growing!!!

Here is Kaylee when she was born........
And here is Kaylee today......

She is talking and singing so much these days! It seems like she comes home with a new word or song every day! She learns so fast!!! Last night during bath time I just decided to sing "row row row your boat" its been a while since I've sung that song... little did I know that Kaylee has apparently learned that song at daycare!!! She started singing right along with me... and of course I shouted at Daddy to come video it!! :)
Hope you enjoy !
HAPPY YEAR AND HALF MISS KAYLEE!!!!!

Kaylee's new pet

Well, Kaylee has her first pet! This weekend we bought Kaylee 2 fish for her room. They are calico fantail goldfish. Kaylee loves to go visit her 'Fishies' and watch them swim around...
More to come on the fish and hopefully I'll get pictures soon of Kaylee with her fish.

Praise God for protection!!

Well, Tuesday night Kaylee and I were driving home from work and daycare. Kaylee was peacefully asleep and I was listening to some music and then our lives got turned upside down. A lady pulled across all 4 lanes of Hwy 129 without stopping or looking and there was nothing I could do but slam on breaks and hope we would be okay. The airbags deployed and the front end of my car is destroyed. When the car came to a stop, and the airbag fog cleared I was shocked that the car was so quiet... .I turned quickly around to check on Kaylee and low and behold Kaylee was still sound asleep!! Praise the Lord!! We were both okay, I only sustained some 1st degree burns on my arms from the airbags, but that is very minor in comparaison in what could have happened.

So now we are in the process of dealing with cops and insurance and most likely finding me a new car. Cars and material things can be easily replaced, and we are praising God that is all we have to replace.

A rainy weekend.. but we're having a BALL!

This weekend it rained, and rained, and rained!! But we were prepared... we had bought a ball pit to pull out for a rainy day.

She had the most fun playing and jumping in her inflatable ball pit! It was well worth every penny while it kept her entertained and not standing at the door saying "Outside mommy".

Easter 2008

I know this is late, but if you know me Easter is a busy time for my family.
We always help out with the Easter plays/drama at our church, so of course this year was no different except that I was the sole director this year. Although we didn't do our 'big' production, it still took alot of time from me, and afterwards I just wanted to relax, therefore... I haven't blogged in a few weeks! Sorry!

So, Easter was exciting for Kaylee. This year she really got into hunting eggs! She would point to her basket full of eggs and say "Eggssss mama". So we would put them on the floor or go outside if it was pretty and she would pick them up. She loved it!

So we went to our church's easter egg hunt at the Bugg's house. We took kaylee last year, but this year she could actually participate! She was so excited when we pulled up and she saw all the eggs on the ground. The kids were divided by ages and Kaylee hunted with kids 3 yrs and younger. They all took off towards the eggs! This was Kaylee's first time hunting with other kids and it was quite a surprise for her.... she didn't understand why they were picking up her eggs!!
But it wasn't long till she figured it out and started running after her own eggs. It was so cute!!
The Easter bunny also visited Kaylee! She loves Elmo, and the Easter bunny must have known that cause Kaylee got her own Dancing Elmo! Its sooo Cute!!!
After Easter sunday service we went over to Chris's parents house for Easter lunch and enjoyed a nice afternoon together. It was a wonderful experience seeing Kaylee get excited about Easter and for us to relieve what Easter is like for kids through her eyes.
Here is our family together on Easter sunday. We hope you had a blessed Easter!
